Emerge Therapy was founded in 2010 by Nathan Gould to deliver high quality therapy to people in Leeds and Bradford.

Since then the company has expanded in size and scope. We now offer a range of counsellors and offer online therapy across the UK.

Meet The Team

Our Therapists

Before starting your therapy you can have a free 20 minute telephone conversation. This helps you know that your therapist is right for you. It is important that you feel comfortable talking with your counsellor.

All of the team are member of a relevant professional body like UKCP or BACP.

Nathan Gould


Nathan is a transactional Analyst working with individuals, Groups and Couples. He specialises in working with issues around anger and rage.

Amanda Bainbridge


Amanda is a relational integrative practitionier, which mean she draws on a range of skills from different approaches to support you in your work together.

Emma Johnston


Emma is a qualified counsellor and a Psycotherapist in training. Continuing her training to focus on Transactional Analysis to work at a great depth with her clients.

Julie Adamson


Julie is a transactional analysis psychotherapist in clinical training. She is experienced in providing therapy to adults who come for many different reasons including depression, anxiety, OCD & Stress.
